Bound in scarlet goatskin. Cover design surface gilt in gold leaf with white suede inlays. Hand titled in gold. Edge-to-edge doublures in scarlet goatskin with surface gilt frame in gold and sunken white suede panels. Lokta fly leaves with screen-printed feather design and granite Cave Paper endsheets. Hand sewn headbands in polyester thread. Head edge has partial gilt edge with bird motifs in gold, motifs continue down foredge turning into sprinkles which continue onto tail head, base layer of edges is titanium white gouache.
Book is housed in a rounded spine clamshell box covered with scarlet goatskin and lokta paper. Trays lined with hahnemuhle smoke ingres Hand titled in gold.
