Erin Fletcher : Hand Bookbinding & Conservation

Conservation
Conservation gives your book a second chance; such as your Grandmother’s childhood books, a family bible, or a cherished and well-read novel. Book and paper repairs through conventional conservation techniques are a non-invasive way to stabilize and strengthen your book so it can be appreciated for current and future generations.

Sometimes a book can be beyond repair and so an enclosure becomes an excellent solution. An enclosure can range from a simple 4-flap to an elaborate clamshell box.
