At 4:00 in the afternoon I was repairing the corner of a page with Tengujo tissue, while Josh was waiting at the Denver airport for Wheeler. Checking out the artwork, 8 artists, 9,408 hours and 2,277,000 beads were used on this beetle.

DAY SIX
At 11:30 this morning I was washing a book presumed to have been owned by Benjamin Franklin (four pamphlets on the causes of thunder and philosophy of earthquakes), while Josh snapped a shot of this wood carving (14 in all) around Vellacito Reservoir. They are dedicated to the firefighters that died fighting the fire of 2003.

At 10:30 in the morning I was putting my belongings into a locker before entering the conservation lab, while Josh was making the face he makes every morning because the sun shines through the teardrop window.
