You will fall in love Leah Reena Goren, trust me. She’s an all around superstar, transforming her watercolor illustrations into delightful decor for your home and body. Leah’s work has been scattered all over the internet at various boutiques and blogs. I’ve already raved about her Moon Phase Scarf, a most recent collaboration for Leah, Rachael & Julia

Over at Etsy you will find even more scarves and other garments, as well as totes and prints for your walls. Even though she’s currently on holiday vacation, bookmark it and check her out at Society6.

Plus, she’s got a thing for drawing flowers and cats, which I just can’t resist ogling.

  2. Artist: Ginette Lapalme

October 4, 2012 by Erin Fletcher

There are so many wonderfully happy things happening in the world of Ginette Lapalme. Bright colors, child-like doodles, diamonds and cats. So many cats! I have quite a soft spot in my heart for the fury little creatures, mainly due to my affections towards my own felines, Peru and Lima. I have no idea what is going on with her art and sometimes that is a good thing.

I recently received my own cat amulet from Ginette’s Etsy shop. To my surprise I received my necklace in a mint colored box decorated by hand with marker and butterfly stickers, sealed with pink cat motif tape. In addition to my fabulous new necklace, I also received 2 itty bitty artist books and a yellow strawberry eraser (just like the ones I use to collect as a kid).

“There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: Music & Cats.” – Albert Schweitzer

Dear Creatures Autumn 2012 collection is made up of wholesome dresses and skirts paired with printed blouses accented with Peter Pan and sailor collars, stripes and sweet little bows in rich fall browns, greens, navy and maroon. Oh yeah, and did I mention the cats!
