Through layered gouache and pastel, Rachell creates scenes full of mystery, pleasure and loss, painting figures dressed in heavily embroidered clothing engaged in ceremonious acts. Amongst these powerful scenes we view human closeness and intimacy at the edge of vast natural landscapes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a
