The quality of his painting reminds me a lot of contemporary marbling with the thick wave-like lines. I really love his little sculptures, especially the dude made up of dried paint scraps. I just ordered copies of <a href=\"http:\/\/brendanmonroe.com\/islandscomic.html\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Islands<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/brendanmonroe.com\/islands2comic.html\" target=\"_blank\">Islands N. 2<\/a><\/em>, and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/brendanmonroe.com\/betweenzine.html\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Between Here and Here<\/em><\/a>; I can&#8217;t for them to
