These pencils were given to her by her father, who worked as a detailer at Studebaker&#8217;s and then the Ford Motor Company. This unique book is housed in a walnut box crafted by Laura&#8217;s father.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">During my visit to her studio, Laura directed me towards her magnetic wall where additional drawings hung. Since <em>Ebony Pencils<\/em>, Laura has expanded to include more tools for her collection, capturing the detail of each tool.
