Mayor Martin J. Walsh and the Boston Art Commission<\/a> invited Boston artists to submit artwork that captures contemporary life in the city to be presented as gifts to visiting diplomats and distinguished guests. Five semi-finalists were chosen from a wide range of applicants and the winner will be determined through an online voting process.\u00a0<\/span>

Check out the website and vote<\/a>\u00a0for your top three favorites. Consider voting for Laura Davidson<\/a>! Her work is greatly inspired by the city of Boston, a place she’s called home for several decades.
