In this series, Woven Portraits<\/a><\/em>, photographer David Samuel Stern<\/a> wove together two photographs of the same subject printed on a transparent vellum. The results are quite fascinating and a bit eerie. Facial features are lost or hidden in the distortion\u00a0forcing the viewer to fill in the gaps in order to reconstruct their images.<\/p>\n
