Introducing a New Column: Conservation Conversations

January 16, 2014 by Erin Fletcher

Over the course of the year, you’ll see a collection of posts written by other people. I’ve wrangled up a few of my friends and colleagues whose work is predominately centered around conservation. Under the title Conservation Conversations, each author will present three posts over two months on a topic of their choice.

In the following post, my friend Anna starts off the series. Anna graduated with me at North Bennet Street School in 2012 and since then she’s landed a position at the Huntington Library in Pasadena. Anna is no stranger to the blog. We collaborated on the Daily Glimpse project together on the first and final months. This was a year long project, where images were exchanged daily at the same random moment. Below is an image from the series showing off my binding work on the left and Anna’s work at the Huntington on the right.

I hope you really enjoy this series and I encourage the posting of questions and comments.
